Quick update: All mapping is completed; layout has begun in earnest on the maps and the Area of Interest content.

Still waiting on Kickstarter to finalize fund transfers; that is targeting next Monday the 26th.

There are few pieces of commissioned art that I'm trying to line up from a scheduling standpoint.

Reminder that the BackerKit will shut down on July 1st, so for those few backers who have yet to respond to the survey, please do so in the next week or so.  Thank you!

DO1 Hardcopy Fulfillment Coming on July 1st

Hi all. My plan all along had been to finish work on Berinncorte Basecamp and then trigger hardcopy fulfillment for everyone who had Dark Obelisk 1 products that included BB. That would save on shipping, since it's a major expense for me, and even the cheapest shipping option is incredibly expensive.

Plans are fun. 

I'm hard at work on completing BB, but it's not done yet. Rather than plod on as I have been, I've decided to take the hit and finally give DO1 hardcopy backers what they deserve. 

On or around July 1st, I will trigger hardcopy fulfillment orders for all Dark Obelisk 1 products that are outstanding.  I'll then be sending BB later once it's complete as a separate shipment.

I know that Kickstarter isn't a store, and that most backers are good and patient and understanding when it comes to indie products seeing the light of day. Better late than never, and all of that. 

But you have all been exceptionally patient and polite regarding the delays. So consider this my way of saying thank you. 

Hopefully you agree that the wait has been worth it thus far!

Why Do You Care?

The DO2 Character Compendium is a brand-new product. It's not part of any previous Kickstarter.  

It's also a great way of getting other IGS books at a discount, if you're not already slated to receive them.

The Character Compendium is projected to not interfere with the development of the other products in our pipeline. It will be pursued in parallel to everything else already on our plate.

BackerKit: Locking Down & Charging Completed Surveys Mon June 12th (plus another map preview)

Quick note: since more than 90% of you have filled out your BackerKit survey, I'm going to pull the trigger on locking those responses down and charging cards this Monday, June 12th.

If after that point you'd like to change your Add-Ons, that's fine; just message me and I'll unlock and resend the survey.

If you haven't yet completed the survey, this doesn't affect you, but please remember to complete yours by July 1st.

Map Preview: Swapmeet Tent

And since there's so much going on, I figure I'll share the Swapmeet Tent interior with you.  Functionally, this takes the place of both the Market Square and the General Store of Berinncorte in the aftermath of the Eruption.

Production Update: Featuring Progress Bars!

Quantifiable progress, at last.  I'll be posting production updates like this in this format going forward, so you can get a bit more of a feel for things other than "progress is being made."

As you may have noticed, I am terrible at estimating when I will get things done.  Not my strong suit.  So I'll always stop short of estimating when I'll be finished.

But at least you'll have pretty gradients to measure how much closer things are!
