DO1 Pathfinder Hardcopy Fulfillment Ordered
over 7 years ago
– Thu, Jul 06, 2017 at 06:23:17 PM
Apologies for the delay; I've been struggling to try and automate this process, but for now, I'll have to be content to simply plug each order in manually.
Hardcopies of the Pathfinder version of the DO1 Adventure Book and Dramatis Personae & Bestiary have been ordered and should ship in the next few days. I have very little experience in international shipping times from OneBookshelf and their print provider, so I cannot advise as to timing for delivery.
My understanding is that OBS will email you to advise when your order ships. I would assume that if tracking information is possible for your shipment, it would be included in that notification..
5E hardcopy fulfillment orders will be placed soon. Hang in there, Fifth Editioners!
Thanks for your patience, and I hope you enjoy!
Art Preview: Unglar
– Fri, Jun 30, 2017 at 01:53:09 PM
Part of what makes Berrincorte Basecamp so useful, even to folks who already have Dark Obelisk 1, is its expanded focus on illustrations of the characters from the city of Berinncorte.
I'm thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of all of you as backers, all 56 NPCs from Dark Obelisk 1 will have artwork in BB. In addition, several new pieces of art will feature in the book.
Much of the new character art will be black and white pencil and/or inks, in the style of those already depicted in DO1.
So without further ado, here's an example of an NPC from DO1 who's rich with possibility from a GM perspective (and quite underrated, frankly, from my own gaming group's experience running the adventure):
Unglar Cleric of Sheergath, Lord of Resigned Fate
Unglar is a devout half-orc, and serves as a strange combination
of security guard and cleric. He helps with temple
services, takes out the trash (literally; that’s not a euphemism
for handling disorderly intruders), cleans up, and will
occasionally hold services himself in the absence of Larissa or Denzys.
Reminder: July 1st BackerKit Lockdown

BackerKit Reminder: Deadline July 1st
Hi all! The vast majority of you have already completed your BackerKit survey (many thanks). For those of you who haven't, you still have time... but not much! Please remember to fill out your survey on or before July 1st.
Production Update
Lots of progress since our last update. Not quite where I'd wanted to be in terms of delivery, but the end product will have a bunch more art as a result!
Maps are all completed. Huzzah.
Layout is in full swing. Maps first, then Area of Interest content for each.
Some work remains on the NPC and monster statblocks; the vast majority of which are already crunch'ed and laid out.
Lots more art has poured in, mostly for the NPCs who were featured in Dark Obelisk 1. The descriptions in BB will contain dozens of new character illustrations depicting the NPCs of DO1.
Art Preview: Brushgather Farm

Weeks ago, I posted map previews of Brushgather Farm, one of the locales available in Berinncorte Basecamp. This functions as a standalone adventure module, itself a full chapter with monsters galore.
Just got back the art of the farmhouse itself... I'm super pleased with the results.
Onward!
Production Update: 20-Jun-2017

Quick update: All mapping is completed; layout has begun in earnest on the maps and the Area of Interest content.
Still waiting on Kickstarter to finalize fund transfers; that is targeting next Monday the 26th.
There are few pieces of commissioned art that I'm trying to line up from a scheduling standpoint.
Reminder that the BackerKit will shut down on July 1st, so for those few backers who have yet to respond to the survey, please do so in the next week or so. Thank you!
