Artists...  Plural and Full-Color!

Thanks to some hunting and generous information-sharing from fellow indie RPG publishers and KS project owners, I've connected with four artists, all of whom have outstanding commissions for upcoming IGS books.  Three of these artists do full-color work, which I'm very eager to include in Berinncorte Basecamp and other future works.

So for a few days we were super close to the 4K mark, but there were some pledge adjustments and we've slipped farther from that mark. No worries; we'll get there.

And when we do, I have a new Stretch Goal to announce. So fingers crossed for that.

Production continues on Berinncorte Basecamp itself; outline is finished and I'm fleshing out the Encounters and quests.

I've commissioned lots more art for this book, and it's begun rolling in... stay tuned for a preview.

It'll probably feature at least one mini-adventure, something that conceivably could be its own standalone thing. Total book size is gonna be pretty huge, methinks, which means hardcopy pledge levels are priced below cost--but it's all good if it means a quality finished product.

Incidentally, now is an ideal time to shoot me any feedback you might have if you've had the opportunity to look over previous work like Dark Obelisk 1. Constructive comments are always welcome and can only help improve the final work!

Stretch Goal Unlocked! + New Stretch Goal

Huzzah, these Stretch Goals keep falling!  

We've unlocked five already, if you can believe it, with still 34 days to go in the campaign, so I've posted a new Stretch Goal on the horizon.

$6,000: Barrowton

Nestled among the picturesque hills and sweeping valleys of the northwest Realm is a venerable society whose burial grounds are elevated above their living areas, in the theory that those who fall, rise again as spirits to enjoy a deserved and earned afterlife among the skies. 

Underneath the mortal cairns, however, the dead have indeed risen... but have formed their own twisted forces in a macabre farce of the town's religious stories. Exploring the sometimes-thin line between religious theory and necromantic practice, this city-setting and huge adventure encompasses the entire broad titular village and its surrounding burial "Rises", and includes detailed NPCs, dozens of Quests, a main adventure plotline, new monsters, and much, much more.

(Yes, this is an April fools joke, but in all honesty, if I get to keep doing this for the rest of my life as I want to, it might actually end up being a bargain, heh.)
